Picnic by the river! Why not?

After my previous story about Shirakawa, this time i would like to tell you my experience about this little hidden gems coffeeshop around Kyoto. Well, there's a lot of coffee shop that being well known around Kyoto, such as Arabica Coffee, Blue Bottle, Weekenders and many more but this one has a unique concept thats make us fall in love at the first place!!
Let me bring you to the entrance of coffee shop, voila!

Entrance door of "Wife and Husband"

See? How beautiful it is! The cafe looks more like an antique shop in France, right? The hanging stools and the benches in the entrance makes this cafe so cozy and unique. The cafe managed by a wife and husband team. So thats why this place called "Wife and Husband". They only have 8 seats including the counter space. Yes i know, not too big for a coffeeshop. But this is why we feel more intimate with the place and we just realize all the bartenders are women. They also fluent in english, its make us easily to order their menu. After we going in, one of the staff asked me "Do you want to picnic by the river while enjoying our coffee?" and i just silence for a moment.... "Wow are you serious? Cause i dont see any river around here. But i loveeee to try it! *big smile on my face*. So, the staff explain their concept coffee and told us they have a picnic menu (including rent a stool, bench, folding table, straw mate and picnic basket for 2 hours rent).  Not just stop right there, they also have a postcard service that we can buy their postcard and deliver to Jakarta.  What a nice idea!

The bartenders making our coffee

After our picnic basket is ready, we just head down to the nearest river around there (Kamagawa-koen) and ready enjoy our picnic experience! (Hint: We need to bring all the picnic stuffs by ourself hahaha)

Cheers!
Our happy faces by the river

After 2 hours rent the picnic basket, we go back to the coffeeshop and put it back. That's my unforgettable experience everrr about coffeshop cause in Jakarta we cant feel the nature vibe like this. Definitely, a must-go-to cafe in Kyoto! Sayonara :)
