Variety of food and drinks in Jakarta become wider everyday. We can easily find some new places within a week. That is why they need to open something fresh and different with the others. Last Sunday, me and mas ukha spent time together in Kelapa Gading area and we found a vintage place with their name on it. Yes, It's Kedai Roti Kobi.

From the entrance “grandma’s” door we can see the vintage style of the restaurant because they keep the main building like they use to be before. However, when we going in, we can see the outdoor space for smoking area too. We ordered two toast breads with different topping for each bread. Messes for me and Sarikaya Kelapa for mas Ukha. Surprisingly, the price very affordable for wheat bread. Yap! their toast bread specially made with wheat bread and it feels really good even eat without any topping (i knew it because this is my second time for Kobi's).

Vintage Corner

After waiting about 10 minutes, our toast bread its ready to be served. For mas ukha, this is his first time trying their toast bread and he cant stop to say "I like this one! I like this one! Not to sweet but yet so tasty for Sarikaya topping". We choose to order one and half portions because we don't want to feel very full. No need to mention again, but i think their wheat bread will be my favorite one for now. We cant wait to gó back to trying their other menu such as Nasi Rames or Lontong Sayur for breakfast!
